The Braves are World Champions. That sounds nice, doesn’t it? As a lifelong Braves fan, it certainly does to me. “The best 48 days of my life.” – Sean Kazmar, Jr Nearing the end of his 5th professional baseball season, Sean Kazmar Jr strode to the plate in San Diego’s Petco Park. The date was August 13th, 2008. It was his first Major League Baseball at-bat, the culmination of a lifelong dream. In many ways the career of Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman is one of patience, trust, and a belief in himself and those he surrounds himself with. Freddie went to high school in Southern California and it was clear he was very good at baseball.
